God is building quite a different house from the one you thought of

Another reason we love our Happy Catholic. From her quote journal --
Imagine yourself as a living house. God comes in to rebuild that house. At first, perhaps, you can understand what He is doing. He is getting the drains right and stopping the leaks in the roof and so on: you knew that those jobs needed doing and so you are not surprised. But presently He starts knocking the house about in a way that hurts abominably and does not seem to make any sense. What on earth is He up to? The explanation is that He is building quite a different house from the one you thought of -- throwing out a new wing here, putting on an extra floor there, running up towers, making courtyards. You thought you were going to be made into a decent little cottage: but He is building a palace. He intends to come and live in it Himself.

Oh you flatterer, you! This is very bad for my striving toward humility (on the other hand it makes me very HAPPY!). :-D

Bender - why for you no tell me about your blog?!?!

Well I guess it's about time. And since I know you're not a fascist you need to ditch the combox moderation. Better yet, get haloscan then you'll have a little dashboard of all the comments coming in and if you need to exercise the strong arm of justice you'll easily be able to do so. In the mean time I'll try to behave myself. ;)

Bender? Whose he? You mean my devious brother?

We only have moderation because (hopefully) my CCD kids are reading it (yeah, right), and I would not want to hurt their sensitive eyes with inappropriate comments.

WE'RE A "G" RATED BLOG HERE!! So no commenting about Kate and Sun.

No worries, but can we still talk about Sarah, right? ;)

Anyway, now that you have your blogging feet wet with this nice little project (that I'm sure your students will take advantage of) perhaps you will start another blog. Something a little more adult...you know...Thomistic philosophy, geopolitical commentary, cartoons...
